The Vienna Yearbook of Population Research is an open access journal. All contents is freely available without charge to the user or their institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the other (see also our Licensing information).
Article submission, processing and publication, including coloured graphs, are free of charge.
The Vienna Yearbook of Population Research is circulated online and in print.
Articles are published online on a rolling basis. Full text PDFs are freely and immediately available for download from our journal website.
Printed copies of the special issues are available annually in full colour and can be ordered from Austrian Academy of Sciences Press.
